These are a few of my favourite books (026)

I know, I stole the title's style from a song!

I see many requests on the newsgroups for good book references. Here are my favourite 3, with links to the Amazon bookstore in Canada (Can) or the United States (U.S.).

• My very first book on Microsoft Access programming was "Access Programming for Dummies"
  Access Programming for Dummies (Can)     (U.S.)

• After that, I would recommend "Beginning Access xx VBA Programming" by Smith and Sussman, published by Wrox press.

• Finally, serious students of Access need to own "Access xx Developer's Handbook" by Litwin, Getz, and Gilbert

I have 3 or 4 other titles in my personal collection; the last 2 above are my favourites. If I was to do it all over again, I would probably skip the Dummies book and go straght to the Wrox one. However, I was a programmer before I met Access.
