| March 1, 2003 back to our home page You can make money from the Internet. How? Work for someone A good example is the many Read E-mail for $ or Surf for $ deals. Sell your own product or service If you have a product or service that you have created, you can market it. This usually involves the creation of a professional web site, although you can start with just an e-mail newsletter, or e-zine. Electronic books are quite popular right now. For more info, e-mail us by clicking here. Sell someone else's product or service If you do not have your own product or service, find a supplier of one and become a reseller of that product or service. The most common way to do this is through either an associate program or in a multi-level marketing (MLM) system. A basic associate program sets you up as a reseller of products. You get a percentage off each sale. Ideally this percentage is at least 20%. Often the vendor will set up a special web site for you to refer people to. Another type is the 2 tier program. In a 2 tier program you can recruit other resellers and you get a small percentage of their sales as well. A good place to find out more about associate programs is Many of you have heard of MLM. If you haven't, you've heard of some companies that use that method of marketing: Amway, Shaklee, NuSkin, USANA, etc. If you have heard controversy mentioned in the same sentence, you've heard right. However, it is just like 2 tier, just multiple levels rather than 2. Much, much more can be said about MLM. We are planning other pages to present more info on them. Suffice to say that the Internet is changing the way that MLMs work and like any regular companies, some are adjusting well to the changes and some are not. If you would like some inside info on MLM, please e-mail us by clicking here. I also suggest that you read this article and this one as well.
