| Jenny, a Turkey, and a Kitten
Jenny was talking to a friend who had recently moved to Edmonton, Canada, due to a
company transfer. Since Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving in early October,
the two of them were talking about Susan's big turkey meal.
Well, it seems that the turkey had been cooked nice and slow in the oven, and she had
pulled it out to slice a big chunk off to test. It was falling apart done---The knife just
slid right through, and Susan was anticipating eating it as she went to check the vegies.
Mistake. She forgot about some interested fur members of the family! They
were real interested too!! I guess they had smelled the good smells all day as well,
and the temptation for one of the babies was just too much! The next thing Susan
knew, one of the kittens, Israel, had jumped onto the stove, grabbed that nice chunk of
meat and ran into the living room with it!
Susan started to get mad, but the little cute thing growled and growled!! It was so funny
to hear a little tiny kitten growl over a piece of turkey that was almost his size!!!
Finally, after getting growled at several times, Susan was able to rescue the meat
and share it with the rest of her fur children.
